These Terms govern your use of Simple Trading Journal (the "Service"), operated by [Company Name], [Registration No.], [Address] ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Simple Trading Journal is a self-service SaaS trade journal. You upload chart screenshots and journal your own past trades. The Service does not execute trades, provide investment advice, or connect to any brokerage.

2. No financial advice

Information in the Service is for personal record-keeping and educational purposes only. It is not financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy or sell any instrument. All trading decisions are your own responsibility. Trading involves risk of loss.

3. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old. Keep your credentials confidential and provide accurate information. You are responsible for all activity on your account.

4. Acceptable use

You will not: (a) use the Service unlawfully or fraudulently; (b) upload malware; (c) probe or interfere with security; (d) scrape or reverse-engineer the Service; (e) infringe intellectual property; (f) resell the Service.

5. Content

You retain ownership of the trades, screenshots, and notes you upload. You grant us a limited license to store and process this content solely to provide the Service. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

6. Subscriptions, payments and taxes

Paid plans are billed in advance in EUR by our Merchant of Record.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing frequency, applicable taxes, cancellations, and refunds are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled from your Subscription settings or via Paddle.

8. AI-generated suggestions

The screenshot analysis feature uses AI (Google Gemini) to extract data and suggest SL/TP levels. Outputs may be inaccurate; you are responsible for verifying every value before saving. The Service is not intended for regulated professional financial advice.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, its code, design, and branding are owned by us. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your plan. No reverse-engineering or redistribution.

10. Warranties and liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for purpose. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the prior 12 months. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages (including trading losses, loss of profits, or loss of data), except where law prohibits such exclusion.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. You can cancel at any time. On termination, you may export your data for 30 days; afterwards it is deleted.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Country], with exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [City], subject to mandatory consumer protection laws where you live.
