How do I log my first trade?

Sign in, click 'Log new trade' in the sidebar (or the + button on mobile). Pick a symbol and strategy, or use 'Quick log from screenshot' — upload a chart image and pick long/short. Ticker, time and entry are read automatically, then you confirm.

How do I create custom symbols and strategies?

Sidebar → Admin → Symbols to add instruments like BTCUSD or TSLA. Admin → Strategies to define your own strategies with custom fields (yes/no, checkbox, dropdown, rating, tags, text, number).

What is the 'Playbook' section for?

Your personal rulebook: entry rules, exit rules, risk rules and forbidden behaviors. Every trade has a 'rule broken' flag — analytics then shows your performance when rules were followed vs. broken.

How does the screenshot upload work?

In the trade form, pick long or short, then upload a chart image (PNG/JPG). Our AI reads the ticker, timestamp, entry price and suggests a stop-loss from the last swing low (long) or swing high (short), plus 1–3 target levels.

Why isn't ticker or entry filled in sometimes?

If the chart image doesn't clearly show the ticker in the header, or the price scale is cropped, the AI returns null. You can always enter the value manually — the AI is a shortcut, not a hard requirement.

Can I have multiple SL and TP on the same trade?

Yes. In the SL/TP section click '+ Add level' to stack SL1/SL2/… and TP1/TP2/TP3/…. The R-multiple is computed against your first SL (SL1).

What counts as one 'AI analysis' against my monthly limit?

Each time you upload a screenshot and let the app auto-fill ticker/entry/SL/TP counts as one AI analysis. Re-analyzing the same image counts again.

Are my screenshots private?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Screenshots are stored in a private bucket with row-level security — only you can read your files. Time-limited signed URLs are used only to feed the AI when you request an analysis.

What is R-multiple and how is it calculated?

R measures reward relative to your initial risk. R = (Exit − Entry) / (Entry − SL1) for longs, and (Entry − Exit) / (SL1 − Entry) for shorts. A +2R trade means you made twice what you risked. R is auto-calculated when you enter entry, SL1 and exit.

Which analytics does the app show?

Win rate, total R, profit factor, average win/loss, best/worst strategy, best/worst symbol, P&L by emotion, P&L when rules followed vs broken, and breakdowns of custom strategy field answers.

How do I upgrade to Pro or Pro+?

In the app go to Settings → Subscription and click 'Upgrade'. Checkout is handled by our payment provider Paddle. In preview/test mode use card 4242 4242 4242 4242.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Settings → Subscription → 'Manage subscription' opens the Paddle customer portal where you can cancel, change payment method or view invoices. You keep access until the end of the current billing period.
